Custom Mixed Bulk Feed: We can grind, mix, and deliver up to 15 tons of feed at a time. We work with every fanner to find the best mixture of grains and minerals that will meet his animals' needs. We have a large selection of minerals mixed specially for each individual type of animal. Our whole feed grains include the following: • Corn: 9% protein • Small Grains Mixture: 12% protein-may include any of the following: barley, oats, wheat, peas, triticale, rye) • Whole Roasted Soybeans: 42% protein • Field Peas: 22% protein • Flax Meal: 36% protein • Soymeal: 48% Protein Attention Dairy Farmers: If you are not 100% pleased with your mix, or you think it could be better, we will take a forage sample when we deliver your feed. Upon receiving an analysis we will go over the results with one of several nutritionists that we work with and help you formulate the best mix for your animals. We will do our best to find the right mineral pack for your animals or any other supplements they might need. If you're not sure whether we have something, make sure you ask us. If you need any other varieties of sed we will do our best to find what you need or help you find someone who has what you are looking for. We strive to help each farmer in any way we can. New Products Available from Cold Springs Farm • Certified Organic Liquid Molasses Helps bind dust and makes feeds more palatable. We are now adding this to our Sheep, Goat, and Calf mixes. Simply ask if you want some added to your custom bulk feed. • Certified Organic Thorvin Kelp Thorvin Kelp is harvested from some of the cleanest and most mineral-enriched waters in the world. Thorvin Kelp is an excellent source of trace minerals, vitamons and amino acids. We use kelp meal in all of our bagged feeds and some of our mineral packs. Ask us to add some to your custom blend or buy it by the bag. • Shavings We now have a steady supply of shavings for all your bedding needs! Ask us about buying it by the 40 lb. bale or by the pallet. • Cold Springs Farm Minerals We have just completed formulating our new mineral pack complete with probiotics, mineral proteinates, and selenium yeast. We have minerals for all your animals' needs. We can provide free-choice minerals, Redmond Salt (bags & blocks) and Certified Organic Sugar. |
